Dog-friendly places in Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg Dog Park
The City Dog Park is a five-acre park within Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, open daily 6 a.m.–10 p.m., with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. Supervise your dog and leash them entering and leaving. Check current City rules.

Enjoy the nature trails and day-use areas with your dog leashed and posted rules followed. See the City park information for current facilities.
Enchanted Rock
Pets may use the Loop Trail and designated picnic and camping areas, but not Summit Trail or most other trails. Keep pets on a leash no longer than six feet, never leave them unattended in a car or campsite, and reserve entry. Read Texas Parks & Wildlife’s current rules before your visit.
Patios and wine country
The visitor bureau lists restaurants and wineries with pet-friendly outdoor areas; Texas Wine Collective says dogs are welcome outdoors. Patio access and rules may change, so confirm directly before you go. Browse Visit Fredericksburg’s pet guide and Texas Wine Collective visitor information.
